Match Database

Every match,
searchable forever

Tinder forgets matches the moment they unmatch. DateIQ doesn't. Every profile, conversation, and interaction is captured to a local database you own — searchable, filterable, and yours to keep.

What you get

  • Full local archive of every match, message, and profile detail
  • Searchable by name, bio keyword, school, or conversation phrase
  • Stage filters: opening, building, closing, reviving, closed, stopped
  • Affinity % shown on every match card so the ranking is visible at a glance
  • Survives unmatches — the conversation stays in your database
  • Lives inside the extension on your device — no export, nothing leaves

How it works

DateIQ runs as a passive Chrome extension. Every time Tinder loads a profile or a conversation in your browser, the extension captures it to a local database on your machine. Nothing is sent to a server — the data lives with you, queryable through the DateIQ side panel.

Search a name you half-remember. Pull up every conversation that ghosted you to spot a pattern. Filter by conversation stage to see exactly which threads need an opener, a building message, or a date ask. Because the database is local you can be as honest with it as you want — and because it survives unmatches, you finally get to learn from the ones that disappear.

Match Database — questions

Quick answers about this feature.

On your device, inside the extension's local storage. Nothing about your matches is sent to any server.
Full-text search runs over names, bios, schools, your message history, and her messages. Combine search with the stage chips to scope down — e.g. "hike" + Building to find every warm thread that mentioned the topic.
DateIQ auto-classifies each thread into Opening, Building, Closing, Reviving, Closed, or Stopped based on the conversation state — who messaged last, how recently, how the thread is trending. You can override the stage manually on any card if you disagree.
Yes — the affinity model retrains as you swipe, so the score reflects your current taste. The number on each match card is always the latest read, not a snapshot from the day you matched.
Local storage is tied to the Chrome profile, so a hard reset clears the database. Account-level sync that re-hydrates after a reset is on the roadmap.
