A short, plain-language summary of what DateIQ does and doesn't do with your data. For the legal version, see the Privacy Policy on the DateIQ website.

What DateIQ stores

To do its job, DateIQ stores:

• Your account info — email, voice settings, plan tier.
• A copy of the matches and conversations you view through the extension, so the coach and drafts have context. This local copy is what gets populated automatically when you open Tinder — see Syncing matches for the mechanics.
• Photos from profiles you view, so the profile-read engine can analyze them.
• AI generation logs — the prompts that went to the model and the drafts that came back — for quality and product improvement.
• Usage data — which features you used, how often, error logs.

What DateIQ does not store

• Your dating app password. DateIQ never sees it. The extension reads your browser session passively; it doesn't log into your account.
• Anyone's payment info. Billing is handled by a third-party processor.
• Conversations you have with people DateIQ never saw — only threads you actually opened with the extension active.

What DateIQ does not do with your data

• We don't sell your data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
• We don't share your conversations with the women on the other side, with other DateIQ users, or with the dating apps.
• We don't use your data to train public AI models. AI features inside DateIQ run on third-party models (currently OpenRouter), and your prompts to those models are governed by their privacy terms — read the Privacy Policy for the up-to-date list.

How to delete your data

You can delete your account and all associated data from inside DateIQ:

1. Open the extension and click the gear icon (Settings).
2. Scroll to the Account section.
3. Click Delete account.
4. Confirm.

Deletion is permanent. Once it runs, your conversations, profile reads, settings, and AI logs are wiped from our systems within 30 days. If you only want to delete certain conversations or matches, you can do that from the match list in the sidebar (right-click, delete) without wiping the whole account.
